When started, it builds an index of the virtual roots and subdirectories on your Web server. You can select which directories and file types can be skipped.

Is it possible for Index Server to index and search PDF files?

Hello Joacim (and Co.), It's possible for index server to index PDF files, but you need to download and install the PDF iFilter from Adobe (www.adobe.com and search for iFilter or use the following URL - http://www.adobe.com/support/salesdocs/1043a.htm).
