A. I hadn't encountered this problem before, but I did find a workaround. Open Access 2000 and create a new database. From the menu bar, select Tools, Options. On the View tab, select the Hidden Objects and System Objects check boxes and click OK. Next, from the menu bar, select File, Get External Data, Import, then choose one of your Access 97 databases. You should see a view of that database's forms, macros, and reports. Select all these items and import them into your new Access 2000 database.

There is one very inexpensive solution - an ACCESS database password cracking tool - it cost you just 30$ and you will get your password instantly. Here is the link. http://www.password-crackers.com/crack1.html#access

Best of luck!
