A. To enable detailed logging for the ADS process to the %windir%\Tracing\Adsbuildsvc.log file perform the following steps:

  • Start the registry editor (regedit.exe).

    1. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Tracing\AdsBuilderSvc.
    2. From the Edit menu, select New - DWORD value.
    3. Enter a value name of EnableFileTracing and press Enter.
    4. Double-click the new value and set it to 1. Click OK.
