Just in case you hadn't heard, Oracle is buying Hyperion, makers of Essbase. 

Does this mean that Oracle will bundle a robust BI engine with their flagship database?  I strongly doubt it.  Oracle has never missed an opportunity to charge for products and features that Microsoft routinely gives away.
