I've downloaded and installed MSDE as you have suggested. SQL Service is startsup properly and I can create Access projects with MSDE tables. I even get stored procedures! Now, to deploy the MSDE backend on a network drive, does one need the full, commercial version of SQL Server? Can MSDE run as a service on an existinge server box? Thanks.

Does anyone know if one can distribute MSDE itself for free? I have an app that needs MSDE but I am not sure if I am breaking a licensing agreement if I distrubute this app and have MSDE setup include in my install files or if my install program installs MSDE. Can anyone tell me where to find the answer in black and white

Thanks
