To help customers improve business processes, increase sales performance, and quicken competitive pressure response, Cognos will support SAP’s Business Information Warehouse 2.0 (SAP BW), a comprehensive, open-end warehouse solution. The alliance is part of Cognos’ ongoing commitment to support SAP BW.
Cognos PowerPlay delivers SAP BW data in OLAP-format reports to consumers across an enterprise in a manageable, cost-effective manner. Cognos received SAP BW 1.2 certification in February 1999 and is an active SAP certification program participant. Cognos also is field testing and certifying PowerPlay and targeting a simultaneous release with SAP BW 2.0’s general availability.
