MaxOptix Unveils New Low-Cost AIT Autoloaders

Windows IT Pro
InstantDoc ID #22513

MaxOptix unveiled the first terabyte-capacity AIT-1 autoloader, priced at less than $5000. The new MaxOptix 8PAC AIT targets anyone who's considering migrating from DDS or purchasing a standalone drive for unattended backup. MaxOptix built the new 8PAC autoloader around the same robotics technology that the company developed for MaxOptix tape libraries. The robotics design is a chassis-mounted, intelligent robotic mechanism that uses only two motors as it picks and places tape cartridges. The 8PAC with AIT-1 or AIT-2 drives is available now.
