Visual Studio LightSwitch is Microsoft’s new entry level development environment. It has been in development for almost two years. LightSwitch has the potential to fill in the low end development void that was left with the retirement of VB6. Microsoft is releasing the final version of Visual Studio LightSwitch on July 26th 2011.
