Add fields to a report

  • If you don’t see the Field List, click the Field List button or choose ViewField List.
  • Drag a field from the Field List to the detail area of the report.

When you add a field to a report, you are adding two controls, or objects.  The label describes the field, and you can change the label to say anything you want, or delete it altogether.  The text box represents the actual field that will be displayed on the report.
