Column Content Types

SQL Server Pro
InstantDoc ID #23092

The columns of data mining models that you create from either relational tables or Predictive Model Markup Language (PMML) have a content type as well as a data type. Whereas a column's data type indicates the type of data the column can contain, a content type describes the role that the column plays in prediction. Table A shows the five basic data-mining model column-content types. See SQL Server 2000 Books Online (BOL) for a more detailed description of data-mining model column-content types.
